Grossmont Adult School - El Cajon Adult Center
Many adults experiencing a disability may have had negative experiences in previous social settings, which can cause anxiety and frustration in individuals who want to interact and be social. Under the steady guidance of our experienced yet youthful lifestyle coaches, participants hone their social skills and have the opportunity to forge friendships with other participants in our program. All our San Diego social clubs are innovatively structured to ensure each adult is placed in an environment with the proper support so that he or she has a positive experience and gains important skills and confidence to become more socially independent. Also during this meeting we will have a chance to meet the adult and gather important information such as triggers and fears.
