As a female pop singer, your hair is kind of important. British singer Jessie J was known for her shiny, dark bob, but earlier this month the year-old had her head shaved on live TV to help raise funds for a charity that helps the homeless in the UK and provides fresh water and vaccines in Africa. A few days later, she dyed her buzz cut blond. And guess what, she looks freaking fantastic.

British actress and singer-songwriter Michaela Coel just debuted one of the coolest buzz cuts we've seen this year, and in a show-stopping Instagram selfie no less. Instead of sticking to her natural color, she spiced up her look by tinting her super-short hair this gorgeous shade of cotton candy. Needless to say, now we're aching to go pink, too.
